Commemorating the 20th Anniversary of SIDEWAYS

To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Academy Award-winning film SIDEWAYS, Hitching Post Wines created the 2021 “Highliner” Pinot Noir, 20th Anniversary SIDEWAYS limited edition. The movie, released in 2004, is situated in Santa Barbara wine country and Hitching Post is prominently featured. The film's success dramatically increased recognition for the wine region, along with soaring sales of Pinot Noir. 

Twenty years later the impact is still felt. It was the 2001 Highliner Pinot Noir that made its movie debut, so selecting a Highliner Pinot 20 years later (an exceptional vintage), was a perfect fit. The 2021 Highliner just earned 91 points from Antonio Galloni's Vinous and Wine Enthusiast Magazine!
